San Francisco Mini Sessions for family portraits, engagement photos, maternity photos, and headshots.
What is a Mini Session?
Fun, 15-minute photo sessions that are great for anyone wanting an updated photo. They are only offered once a year, just in time for the holidays. Limited space is available, so book soon!
This is a fast-paced portrait session, so if you want a more relaxed experience and those candid "in-between" moments, you'll be happier booking a full session.

What’s the price and what’s included?
Session Fee: $100 (covers time & editing; digital images are not included and must be purchased separately).
Image Options: Choose from 15 edited images. Collection packages start at $250. Keep scrolling to see the full collections.
When and where will they take place?
When: Friday, October 16th, 23rd, and 30th + Thursday, October 22nd
Where: 3 stunning San Francisco Locations: Lover’s Lane in the Presidio, the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and the Presidio with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge
Lover’s Lane (The Woodline)
This spot is tucked into the eucalyptus grove along Lover’s Lane in the Presidio, at Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line. It’s beautiful in the afternoon light, but it’s just as pretty when the fog rolls in.
It’s also a great choice for kids who like to move, explore, and play a little during the session.
Dogs are allowed.
The Presidio with the Golden Gate Bridge
The Presidio has a view that never gets old, with the Golden Gate Bridge right behind you and plenty of space for kids to move around and be themselves.
Fog is always possible, and if the bridge is totally obscured, we can shift to the nearby beach for water views instead. If the weather really isn’t cooperating, I’ll be in touch about next steps.
Dogs are allowed on leash.
The Palace of Fine Arts
The Palace of Fine Arts is one of those classic San Francisco locations that always feels special. Between the columns, architecture, water, and greenery, there are lots of beautiful little spots to work with.
We’ll choose the best areas based on the light that day, so your photos may feature different parts of the Palace rather than one specific view. It’s a great option if you want something elegant, timeless, and very San Francisco.
Dogs are allowed on leash.

Your session is officially reserved once you pay the $100 session fee and sign the online contract.
What's Covered: The session fee covers my time, creativity, and photo editing.

Session Experience: Enjoy a light-hearted 15-minute photo session.

Check your inbox!: Two weeks post-session, you'll get an email saying your photos are ready.
View your images: Enjoy a special slideshow preview of the 15 edited images that are in your gallery. The slideshow is available to view for 24 hours.
Choose your collection: Choose a Collection package to unlock your gallery and access your images.
Each Collection includes:
a set number of image downloads, with print release
a print credit to use in the online store

The Print Shop
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning for a photo session, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked... all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere!
You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will holding them in your hands, so I’ve included a print credit with every collection.
Here is a sample of some of the items you can choose from. Other items you will find in the store are fine art albums, fine art deckled prints, folios, and linen boxes.
Professional Lab Prints
Your favorite images are professionally printed on archival quality photo paper with your choice of semi-gloss or deep matte finish. These full bleed prints are available in a variety of sizes and are perfect for framing and hanging on the wall or giving as a special gift.

Gallery Boards
Printed on Fuji Deep Matte paper and mounted onto a rigid white board, for a durable and long-lasting print. This archival paper has a velvety finish with rich colors and subdued darks. Versatile gallery boards are wonderful for displaying on their own or in a custom frame.

Greeting Cards
Printed on paper with a matte finish, these cards are perfect for all occasions and the holidays.

Where is the location?
There are 3 locations to choose from: Cavallo Point in Sausalito, Lover’s Lane (The Woodline) in the Presidio, and the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Once you’re booked, I’ll send out a map with detailed meeting instructions.

What happens if we can't make it?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of mini-sessions, all session fees are non-refundable. However, you can always gift or sell your spot to a friend or family member.

What happens if we're late?
If you’re running late, please text me as soon as possible! Mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back and are timed perfectly for the best light. I’m happy to photograph your family for the remaining time in your slot once you arrive, but I won’t be able to extend your session or adjust others. I understand that life happens, and I’ll do my best to accommodate or reschedule if needed—just note that a reschedule may require an additional booking fee.

What if it rains?
I will do my very best to make accommodations as soon as possible.

What is the turnaround time? When will I get my photos and prints?
You’ll receive your slideshow preview within two weeks after the session. Print orders must be placed within two weeks of purchasing your collection. Most orders are delivered within 4 weeks. While I can’t guarantee an exact shipping date due to potential holiday delays, expedited shipping is available if needed.

How many people can I bring? Can my dog come, too?
Extended family is welcome to join, but please keep the total group size to 8 people max.
Dogs are welcome at all locations on leash.

What should we wear? How should we prepare?
After booking your session, I’ll send you a guide with wardrobe advice and general tips on how to prepare, especially if you have little ones!

I hate being photographed! Any advice?
Don’t worry, you’re not alone! I’ve photographed countless families, couples, and individuals who are camera shy. I’ll guide you with some simple, flattering poses and promise to put you at ease.
